Portal Data Archive

As part of the VAST Program, RTC and the VAST agencies have established an ongoing partnership with Portland State University and Portland area transportation agencies to maintain and improve the data archive hosted by the ITS Lab at PSU known as Portal. The archive contains, in a single location, historical and real-time transportation data from agencies in the Vancouver-Portland region. This one-stop information warehouse can be used by researchers, planners, traffic engineers, and the public to look at multimodal transportation performance throughout the region.

The full data archive site contains freeways, arterials, and transit data in the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan region. Many of these data feeds are received by PORTAL in real time or on a daily basis and for most, the retrieval and archiving process is fully automated.
